ThinOptics does not and shall not discriminate against any consumer due to the consumer exercising their consumer rights under any applicable title.

Information We Collect

When you register for an account on our website, we will collect pertinent information from you. We will also collect information when you place an order, enter any ThinOptics contests/sweepstakes or if you respond to a survey or email communication.

When you place an order or register for an account, we will ask you for your name, email address, mailing and shipping address and phone number. Credit card information will only be collected when an order is placed with a representative over the phone. Credit card information is never saved in our systems. Please note that you will be asked each time to provide your credit card information due to our privacy policy.

Gift recipients will need to provide their name and shipping address for shipping purposes. This is necessary to fulfill the gift purchase and will not be used for marketing purposes.

Your information is housed behind secured networks. This information is only accessible by people who have access rights and have signed confidentiality agreements.

Return Policy

BY USING A PRODUCT MANUFACTURED BY OR FOR THINOPTICS (A "PRODUCT") YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THE THINOPTICS INC. GUARANTEE (“GUARANTEE”) AS SET OUT BELOW. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THE GUARANTEE, DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT AND RETURN IT TO US UNOPENED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE FOR A REFUND.

ThinOptics will, at its option, repair or replace any product found by ThinOptics to be defective.

The customer is responsible for the cost of the return shipping if the return is at their request. If ThinOptics is requested due to a defect, ThinOptics will pay for the cost of return shipping.

Please package all products carefully to avoid any further damage. ThinOptics will not be held responsible for damage caused by improper shipping or non-receipt.

Please allow 4-6 weeks for claims to be processed.

ThinOptics' obligations for the Product purchased by the end-user ("You") are limited to the terms set forth below:

Warranty is valid on original purchase only. Replacement products are not warranted.

Replacement products will be for the original products purchased. We will not provide a different product (color/strength) as a replacement.

Shipping and handling charges may apply, except where applicable by law.

You may request a review of your account if you feel you have been denied replacements incorrectly. Requests for account review can be submitted to: support@thinoptics.com

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If you're not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund or an exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase. The exchange must be of equal value to the original purchase.

60-Day Limited Warranty

ThinOptics reading glasses are covered by a limited 6-month warranty. This is a defect warranty only - we will only refund/exchange after 30 days due to manufacturer defects or defects caused by normal wear and tear.

Exchange/Refund Requests

Damaged items will be replaced with items of equal value unless otherwise requested.

To request an exchange or refund:

ThinOptics warranty does not cover:

Exclusions and limitations

Except as expressly set forth in this Warranty, ThinOptics, in so far as permitted by law, provides their Products "as is". ThinOptics is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to use of the Product.

This Warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by use with another product; (b) to damage caused by accident, abuse or misuse, including, but not limited to, scratches and broken lenses; or (c) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Product.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. ThinOptics’ responsibility for defects is limited to replacement service as determined by ThinOptics in its sole discretion.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED CONDITIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, OR WARRANTIES. THINOPTICS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, NON-INTERFERENCE, OR ACCURACY, OR ARISING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING OR TRADE PRACTICE, TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

To the extent an implied warranty cannot be excluded, such warranty is limited in duration to the period set forth above. No warranties, whether express or implied, will apply after the expiration of the applicable warranty period. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you. No ThinOptics dealer, distributor, reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty.

THINOPTICS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, OR COMMERCIAL LOSS EVEN IF THINOPTICS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

ThinOptics may restrict service to the fifty states of the United States of America and the District of Columbia.

ThinOptics reserves the right to refuse service to any customer that is using abusive language or actions toward any ThinOptics employee.

In accordance with applicable law, ThinOptics may require that you furnish proof of purchase details and/or comply with registration requirements before receiving warranty service.

Note that in the European Union, any warranty period less than two years shall be increased to two years.
